  6. ZX files  has   many   options,  it is
  7. used by mouse and/or keyboard.
  8.  
  9. The  Index contains a full list of all
  10. the  Articles  available.     You will
  11. also  notice  that  the  Index  has  a
  12. number  of  pages  that can be flipped
  13. through.
  14.  
  15.  
  16. (This can be checked by looking at the
  17. top  right of the screen when you have
  18. selected @3INDEX @4from the panel).

  21. @3LOADING @1- @5 Loading  an   Article
  22. from the Index is as easy  as clicking
  23. on it with the mouse button.

  30. If  an  Article can be loaded, it will
  31. be hi-lighted when the pointer is over
  32. it.       (You  can  choose  to  press
  33. @1<Return>  @5instead  of pressing the
  34. mouse keys!

  36. When  an  Article  has loaded, you can
  37. check  to see how many pages it has by
  38. looking   at  the  top  right  of  the
  39. screen.

  45. Over  the  next few pages we shall run
  46. through all the buttons on the panel.

  49. @3INDEX @1- @4This displays the index.    It
  50. can be selected from the control panel
  51. or by pressing @1<ESC>@4.    Obviously you
  52. will only need to use this option when
  53. you have an Article or IFF loaded.

  57. @3NEXT @1- @5This option will display either
  58. the  next  Index  Page or Article Page
  59. depending on which one being displayed
  60. on  the  screen.    It can be selected
  61. via  the  control panel or by pressing
  62. the @1<Right Cursor Key>@5.

  65. @3PREV @1- @4This option will display either
  66. the  previous  Index  Page  or Article
  67. Page  depending  on which one is being
  68. displayed  on the screen.    It can be
  69. selected  via  the control panel or by
  70. pressing the @1<Left Cursor Key>@4.

  73. @3FIRST @1-@5This option will display either
  74. the  first  Index Page or Article Page
  75. depending   on   which  one  is  being
  76. displayed  on the screen.    It can be
  77. selected  via  the control panel or by
  78. pressing the @1<Up Cursor Key>@5.

  81. @3LAST @1- @4This option will display either
  82. the  last  Index  Page or Article Page
  83. depending   on   which  one  is  being
  84. displayed  on the screen.    It can be
  85. selected  via  the control panel or by
  86. pressing  the @1<Down Cursor Key>@4.

  89. @3GOTO @1- @5This  option  will  display any
  90. Index  Page  or Article Page depending
  91. on which one is being displayed on the
  92. screen.     It can be selected via the
  93. control   panel  or  by  pressing  the
  94. @1<SPACE  BAR>@5.    Then just type in the
  95. page  you  want  to  jump to and press
  96. @1<Return>@5.
  97. @3PRINT @1-@4This will only become available
  98. when  an article has loaded.    It can
  99. be  selected  from  the  panel  or  by
  100. pressing @1<shift & P>@4.

  102. @3ABOUT @1- @5This will  bring  up  a  small
  103. message   box  with  some  information
  104. about  ZX Files.    It can be selected via
  105. the control panel or by pressing @1<A>@5.

  107. @3HELP @1- @4Will   Display  a  quick   help
  108. screen.     It can be selected via the
  109. control  panel or from the keyboard by
  110. pressing @1<HELP>@4.

  112. @3COLOURS @1- @5The coloured  text  shown on
  113. articles  can  now  be toggled on/off.
  114. This  can  be selected via the control
  115. panel or from the keyboard by pressing
  116. @1<C>@5.    Try it just now.

  118. @3MUSIC@1- @4This  option  toggles the music
  119. On  or  Off.    It can be selected via
  120. the control panel or pressing @1<M>@4.
  121. @3SECRET @1- @5This option will let you type
  122. in  a  password  to access some secret
  123. messages  !     You  need  to know the
  124. correct  password before gaining entry
  125. to   the  messages  !      It  can  be
  126. selected  via  the  Index only and you
  127. will   be   prompted   to   enter  the
  128. password.     As  usual  this  can  be
  129. selected  via  the control panel or by
  130. pressing @1<S>@5.

  132. @3CLI @1- @4This   will   let   you  go   to
  133. either  CLI  or  WBench,  depending in
  134. where  you loaded ZX Files from.    All CPU
  135. time will be returned to the Amiga and
  136. to  get back to ZX Files from CLI or WBench
  137. you  need to press @1<Left Amiga and A>@4.
  138. This  option  can  be selected via the
  139. control panel or by pressing the above
  140. mentioned keys.

  142. @3QUIT @1- @5This will let  you  Quit ZX Files!
  143. It  can  be  selected  via the control
  144. panel or by presing @1<Shift & Esc>@5.
  145. @3NB @1-   @4IFF  pictures  do  NOT  have  a
  146. selection  of pages !    Therefore the
  147. NEXT, PREV, FIRST, LAST & GOTO options
  148. wont work when an IFF picture is being
  149. displayed on the screen.    You cannot
  150. print  pictures from ZX Files !
